# | Maker Vault Curator

Do what you love with DLMM and curate your own Maker Vault to multiply your return. Deploy your own strategy, bot, or AI agent and set up your Maker Vault Curator Fee. The better you perform, the more liquidity you can attract, the higher the Curator Fee you earn. The best-performing vaults will be supercharged by the Activation Layer (TBA) with extra incentives for the depositors and a referral program. More on the Activation Layer to be announced. Maker Vaults are a 100% on-chain, non-custodial solution – your strategy, your performance, your Curator Fee.

## Business Case for an Curator

The Curator Fee stands for assets under management fee. The fee is set by the curator at the inception of a vault, between 0.5% and 10%. It is based on the total liquidity in the vault and paid incrementally to the curator with every rebalance of the vault. The following table exemplifies the possible earnings of a successful curator with three Maker Vaults:

In this example the Maker Vault curator with 3 successful vaults earns 100.000 $ / year assuming that none of the liquidity in the vaults is provided by himself. The business case for also providing liquidity into a Maker Vault is described in the chapter Maker Vaults for Stackers. The earnings for the curator is highly dependent on the amount of liquidity he can attract with his performance and the Curator Fee he charges.

On top, the Activation Layer will open another income stream for curators who successfully promote their vaults once it launches.
